Proverbs 29:18 tells us that “where there is no vision, the people perish...” The Bible tells us that the Prophet Habakkuk’s heart was burdened with the issues of his day and he began to cry out to the Lord for the answers to the questions that were raised in his heart. As he waited, the Lord spoke unto him and directed him in Habakkuk 2:2-3 to “…write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”
The purpose of any congregation of Jesus Christ should to be to seek, find, do and dwell in the will of God by seeking the guidance and empowerment of His Holy Spirit for doing our part in fulfilling the mission of Jesus Christ to His Church.
